I am Helen - but I am called Yvonne & the person behind helen's view photography.

I am a South African born, Bavarian raised Viennese, who's been living in Austria with my husband and our two dogs Barney & Rose. I have a soft spot for fashion, interior magazines, enjoy good coffee & the company of family ands friends.

I worked in the fashion industry for 8 years before I started as a photographer. Actually it wasn't my aim to become a wedding photographer.

Coffee lover, dog owner, Travelling adiccted. I worked in the fashion industry and add an editorial twist to all my photos.

But I was thrilled to discover that weddings have much more to offer than just food. So i committed to myself that I would do this differently. Being part of such magic days, with brilliant people all dressed up, is a unique kind of joy for me; that weddings offer a rare opportunity to blend portrait, photojournalism and editorial photography in a way that I may never get sick of.

I want your images to be felt, not just seen and I want the day to feel like your wedding day not just a photo session.

I believe in light and laughters and above all else love. I believe photographs tell stories forgotten and told, endings and everything in between. My passion is capturing the in-between moment while your wedding day.

Travel makes me incredibly happy so it's no surprise destination weddings are my favourite. It's because typically destination weddings include a day before and / or a day after gathering - wether it's a boat trop or a pool party - i love all of it.

This is why I do what I do, to capture connections, feelings & adventures !
